So, it's been a minute since I have posted last. The reason for this being SEVERAL different things:
The platform this website uses is SHIT. I dunno WTF I was thinking. But NOW I'm thinking, "Why the fuck am I paying for this bullshit?"
I work a zillion hours a week and I'm tired.
It has been relatively hard to keep a civil tongue in my head about a multitude of subjects...I know, why let THAT stop me, right?
I'm sort of lazy.
And, well....whatever.
The last few months have been a cross between doing a happy dance and oh my fucking god. The last few weeks though, I have been seeing some seriously WTF moments and it has really made me question the "reality" that some folks seem to be living in.
Karening has become some rampant buncha crap. No one cares what you think Karen! Keep your anti-masking, "God Hates Fags" bullshit to yourself. Maybe I should start Zaying people. .... Hmm, not a bad idea?
But today, man, that really took the cake for me. I fell down a YouTube rabbit hole while having a cuppa this morning. Get this... An Amazon delivery driver dropped off a package at someone's home, took a picture to confirm delivery and PICKED UP THE PACKAGE AND STOLE IT. So, that little news story led me to stumbling down the rabbit hole and apparently, this happens a LOT. So much so that there are hundreds of videos that people have captured on their Ring cameras and other security cameras. Now, that statement is important... Most folks DO have cameras. So I have to ask, do the thieves think they aren't being seen? Do they honestly believe they are being clever? I'm telling you, IQ's have taken a nosedive into oblivion over the last few years. I mean, it started a while back with the Tide Pod eaters and maybe before that BUT COME THE FUCK ON MAN.....
It seriously concerns me how ultra-fucking stupid people have become. I mean, like... SERIOUSLY.
It concerns me more from an Anthropological/Sociological point of view rather than just the pissing me off You Kids Get Off My Lawn perspective.
Because what all indications are pointing to, is that really, people have gotten completely stupid. It means that people now lack the ability to think forward. That basic SURVIVAL skills are like, fucking gone. Forethought is what has kept us alive for millions of years, but apparently, the people who have been born lately lack this ability.
It is baffling, mind-boggling and leaves me with a very nasty taste in my mouth. I mean, I should NOT be flabberghasted on a REGULAR basis over something like, an amazon delivery or rando Karen/Chad walking up to people to state that a Mandate is NOT a Law. ::blinks::
And quite frankly, it is terrifying. It should scare the living Bejeezuz out of anyone born in Gen X and some of you older Millennials. Did we get the last dose of intelligence that was being handed out?? Seems that way to me...which freaks me out....more than a bit.
You KNOW of which I speak. You see it every day. And I'm pretty sure it freaks you out too.
I think the thing that is most concerning is that this isn't something that they can LEARN. I do not believe the capacity exists for that, otherwise it would have already been learned. Right?
And we can only sit here and watch with our mouths agape and our eyes wide in shock because it's illegal to kill people for being stupid.
Stupidity, true, honest to God Stupidity, should be INCREDIBLY painful for The Stupid. NOT for those of us who have to deal with them. I think us smart folks should have a button attached to their shock collars. Once upon a time, if you were too stupid to live, you DIED. You got taken out of the Gene Pool and smart folks didn't have to deal with it. Darwin Awards should be given freely. In fact, I think someone should host a Darwin Olympics and let them cull themselves.
I face palm ALL THE TIME. Seriously, like... 509 times a day. While very little shocks me anymore, I find that I am constantly AMAZED by stupid people. They aren't even entertaining anymore. It just makes me sad for the future of our species.
Well, I promise to write more often. I have been in flux, so I find that I am coming back to center and things should roll on a little easier now. I will just have to deal with the stupid platform and the time it takes for me to be able to write ANYTHING on it and then, badda bing... Badda Blog.
